Very nice intimate tour and wine tasting. Elisa was a great and passionate tour guide and knew so much about the wines. The view over the Tuscan sight while tasting was amazing.
I’ve done tours with both commercial and family-run wineries and I can’t stress enough how important it is - if you’re truly a wine enthusiast - to do the latter if you want a more in-depth experience. My wife and I had the chance to visit Iviti and we were charmed by our hostess, Elisa. Elisa and her fiancé, Luca, are the second generation vintners of this estate and we had a whale of a time geeking out of them and sampling 7 bottles together with a smorgasbord of cheeses and cured meats. While the wines were spectacular (beg them to sell you their inaugural 2017 Cabernet Franc - only 1000 bottles produced), their hospitality was what won us over and I’d highly recommend putting this on your itinerary.
