My husband and I had the best time with Roberto and Sara! We were in Tuscany for a wedding and only had one free day to do an e-bike experience. When I connected with Roberto, it became clear that he is not only passionate about showcasing the beauty of Tuscany and Umbria via e-bike, but his product is unique and completely tailored to the guests. As a travel agent, this is exactly what I look for - not some cookie cutter group tour. I asked Roberto to tailor an e-bike tour that showed us some of the best views in Chianti combined with interesting history. I also mentioned we love birds. We met up with Roberto and Sara at a beautiful winery in Chianti in the morning. Over some coffee, we went over the plan for the day and got to know each other. We then did a safety briefing, and then soon after got on our e-bikes. The bikes were beautiful! Great condition, easy to handle, and the e-motor worked flawlessly. I can’t imagine biking through hilly Tuscany without an e-bike. We stopped at various sites in the countryside with Roberto explaining interesting facts about growing grapes, the origin of the black rooster, Etruscan hunting techniques, wild herbs, bird nests, and so much more. I’ve never had a guide as funny as Roberto, and he made ancient stories so much more entertaining. Sara was always behind us making sure we were safe and calling out if there were any cars. We stopped in the cool walled town of Monteriggioni before heading back to the winery for lunch, a wine tasting, and a tour. Lunch was incredible, and the wines were delicious. The wine tour was short and sweet. When I say this e-bike tour was one of the highlights of my trip, I mean it. Roberto and Sara took time to get to know us and it felt like we were old friends visiting their town to show us around. We saw some of the most gorgeous views in Chianti and even saw a baby eagle. We learned a lot and laughed a lot. I highly recommend them for families, couples, and even solo travelers who want an immersive Chianti sightseeing experience with someone who is passionate about e-biking in Italy. The rides were beautiful and not hard on the e-bike. The food was amazing he selected good restaurants and very good wineries. Had an amazing day exploring Cortona with Roberto! After good instruction and fitting of bikes for our group of 5 friends, Roberto took us to beautiful areas and vistas of Cortona that were in low traffic areas. The e- bikes were in excellent condition and easy to use. Roberto shared interesting info about the history of Cortona and Etruscans. We finished with a wine tasting at L’Usciolo with Fabrizio which was amazing! The food, wine and olive oil were outstanding. And we were served delicious pasta by Isabella who owns a restaurant in historical Cortona. This was a very special day…thank you Roberto!
We had a phenomenal experience on our EBK tour!!! Without hesitation, it was the highlight of our trip to Tuscany. Roberto has cultivated such a rich experience in his tours; he has such rich history to share with us while on the bikes that it made trekking up hills an ease as we learned about the history of Monteriggioni and the vineyards within this part of Tuscany. This was our first time on electric bikes (one of us is a seasoned road bike rider) and we both thoroughly enjoyed this new adventure! One of the best parts of Roberto’s experience is how he pairs the tour with a meal at a local venue. For us, our tour included lunch at Il Colombaio Winery….this hands down was the best meal and conversation with the vineyard owner we had in Italy!! We’ll forever have these incredible memories of adventuring through Italy on bike for a day and the views we got to see. Please don’t miss this chance to experience this!
