Birthday party with 15 people. Everyone had a great time and service was amazing! I customized my pizza and came out perfectly. Just a few minutes from our place in Cortona. Sara was great! Will definitely be back.
We spent 6 weeks here in 2024 and couldn’t wait to return in 2025. Our first night here we ate here and the pizzas were every bit as good as we had remembered. Maybe the best pizza we have encountered in Italy. Maurizio and the staff are very welcoming, warm and kind, and the food was quickly served and was superb. We came back the second night as well and will be returning again soon. This is a wonderful family-run restaurant and I wish we lived here so we could enjoy it more often.
Amazing food and service! Pizza was delicious as well as the dessert, we treated ourselves with a glass of sparkling rose wine which was incredible! Giulia made our time here extra special with her incredible service :) we will definitely come again!

San Lazarro is a typical Italian pizzeria. They serve really really good pizza's, even the crust tastes good. The owner, his sons and other workers are friendly. The terrace is beautifull. The only reason withholding me from giving 5 stars is the cold atmosphere inside which alot of Italian restaurants have. Bright White TL lights 🤐. A romantic warm yellow dimmed light would would turn this place in the perfect pizzeria for the Dutch, German or American tourists. But we will come back very often, for sure!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at Pizzeria Lazzaro! Despite not having a reservation, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, which I really appreciated. The service was friendly and relaxed, making me feel right at ease. As for the food – absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care and with a good wine to go with it. Definitely worth the visit
